Hello fellow new MFAs,

I am currently hunting for apartments near FSU and was wondering if anyone else in the program would be interested in potentially sharing a two-bedroom apartment to split costs.

Dear fellow classmates!

Here I'd like to introduce myself~I'm Yingjia from Beijing, China. Guess I'm much futher to you than the rest...It's good to know you in advance, thanks Kelly for setting up this forum!

I definitely need a place to live, and I'd love to have one or two other graduate roommates to share with. Problem is now I have no idea when I can obtain my visa (probably one day before our orientation)...Thus if any one has found out good place and would like to share with me, that'll be great!

I'm friendly, open minded, a bit quiet, so hope you're similar? About place I totally have no idea about it, but hope it could be near to the school, convenient and quiet. the Alumnus Villiage looks quite nice? anyway, if you're interested, you can leave me a message or drop me a mail at yingjiac@yahoo.com.cn

Wish everyone a nice summer and see u in fall!

Yingjia
Hi Yingjia,
I'm a MFA currently looking for roommates in what has been called "The Film School House." With the new year my roommates are graduating and moving in with their significant others. The house is in a nice neighborhood (mainly old people) about 2 miles from school. Rent is cheap- $337/mo (4 bed). This is a no-pet and no-smoking house. I would like to keep this a film student house as we all have the same crazy schedule and understand what everyone is going through. Let me know if you're interested 619-818-7018.

Looking forward to working with you in Aug!

Best,
Matt Ryan
Hi, Matt,

Nice to know u and good to know something about an interesting house~

My question is how many rooms in the house? as you just mentioned 4 beds? Is $337 one month rent per person or per house? (sorry I totally have no idea...)

And, will you have a lot of parties? actually I seldom go to party, but I also enjoy being with friends, just hope not too noisy...

All my best!

Yingjia

Matt,

I might be interested in trying something like this. If I were living in an apartment I would probably rather go it alone, but if this was an actual house, that could be very interesting. Lemme know if there are any more interested parties...so three bedrooms are available??

Peace,
Corey
Hello again everybody,

I know that most of you will probably have your housing plans lined up by now, but if anyone is still interested, please let me know. I'm going to be renting a pretty large 2 BR/2 B apartment near Governor's Square Mall and am looking for a roommate. Rent would be $425 per person and includes washer/dryer. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks,

Kelly
