I just wanted to pass along the information that the IA is currently striking against Larry Levinson Productions (LLP). we are trying to flip the company because their current production, "Megastorm", a $9 million miniseries for NBC, has been unfair to it's workers (no 6th day pay, short turnaround and a budget that should be union) and we want to make our voices heard and change the situation.

Many of us out here in Los Angeles have run across LLP over the years and know it has to be better. But LLP is fighting us and is hiring scabs to replace dedicated and good workers. So I just want to say that if any of you FSU newbies get a call, or you answer one of their many Craigslist.org ads, DO NOT CROSS THE PICKET LINE!!! agree to show up for work, then stop at the picket line and talk with one of the union reps and let them know you stand with us and won't cross the line. It will be a great experience for you and let LLP know that the days of shorting their crew are over.

I don't want to end on a negative note, but we are seeing scabs with out-of-state plates crossing the line. This means that they are getting fresh, inexperienced kids to come out and work. Know that if you cross the line, and we identify you, you will be blacklisted by IA and you career made much more difficult.

I hope I don't see any FSU alumni trying to cross the picket line. Stand with us and help yourself to a better future.
