FSU FILM SCREENINGS & AWARDS UPDATE – November 3, 2011

Luz (BFA Thesis 2010 David Liz) will be Latino Category Award Winner for the East Region and Our Rhineland (MFA Thesis 2011 Faren Humes) will African American Category Award Winner for the East Region at the DGA Student Film Awards in New York City on December 1. Annabelle (BFA F-3 2011 Avital Epstein) was selected for screening and awarded Best Florida Film in the Collegiate Competition at the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival. In the same competition, The Collegians (MFA Thesis 2011 Bryan Lewis) won second place, Missile Crisis (MFA Thesis 2010 Jaye Davidson) won third place, and Sunshower (BFA F-3 2011 Justin Reager) won fourth place.
