From Dana Buning (MFA 03) “Please help! A friend and I recently entered the Nikon Festival (Your Day in 140 Seconds or Less) and have made it to the Judges' Top 50, out of over 1200 submissions. There is a great cash prize and camera package awarded to the winner of the Audience Award (and even more for the Judges Award), and I would be incredibly grateful to any FSU supporters willing to click on the link below, watch our video, and give it 5 stars. Our video is called "I Met a Girl" and is in the second row. You vote by clicking on the 5th star above the video image. Each person (computer) can only vote once per video. The events in the story are all true, and the people who lived them could really use that prize! We've hovered in the Top 10 since voting began (in the top 3 for the first several days), so we've actually got a shot. Please check it out and vote if you are willing. Winners are announced on January 13th. Thanks to all! Happy 2010! http://www.nikonfestival.com/blog/category/award/ a href="http://www.nikonfestival.com/blog/category/award/">http://www.nikonfestival.com/blog/category/award/> “

From Rob Muraskin (MFA 05) “A two-minute short I directed, "Carpool Therapy" is a finalist in Nikon's $100,000 online festival! It stars Will Bigham (MFA '04) as a roadside shrink going crazy, and was produced by Jessica Miller (BFA '06), AD'd by Mike Pycher (BFA '05), with cinematography by Lucie Rouche (MFA '06). Check it out here... http://www.nikonfestival.com/blog/2009/12/14/carpool-therapy-first-... a href="http://www.nikonfestival.com/blog/2009/12/14/carpool-therapy-first-day/">http://www.nikonfestival.com/blog/2009/12/14/carpool-therapy-first-day/> Then please click on the stars above the video to vote (five stars would be nice), which is important in the judging. And if you have an extra minute and can tweet or facebook the link and voting info to friends, I'd be really grateful... Thanks!! And Happy Holidays...”

It's for MANAGEMENT 101, which is a talent/literary management company based in North Hollywood. We're looking for interns that can receive college credit and can work 3-5 days a week, either in mornings or afternoons. The internship consists of general office and assistant duties such as heavy phones, client submissions, scheduling, and other assorted tasks. The interns get to work directly with casting office, agencies, and clients. It's definitely a busy internship where you'll learn a ton!
